Free Felt Food Pattern for American Girl 18″ Doll sized Felt Cookies

My newest obsession is making felt food. I’m not sure why it’s so addicting but it is! As you can see above, I made Abby some cookies and she requested that I make some for Paula her American Girl Doll. I was unable to find a free felt food pattern for American Girl sized cookies so I made one myself. Here’s what I came up with:
“Ingredients”:
Two different Colors of Felt
Embroidery Floss
Fabric Pen
Scissors
Needles
Poly-fil or some other stuffing
1. The first thing you’re going to want to do is to cut out your felt shapes. I’ve provided a free felt food pattern (click image below to download pdf file) or you can eyeball it if you’d like. You can also use whatever you’ve got around the house to trace out two circle shapes onto your felt. You’ll need 2 of the same color for your cookie, and one smaller circle in a different color for the frosting.
2. Sew frosting onto one of the cookie pieces. I used a whip stitch that I learned how to do here, but you can use a running stitch or whatever kind of stitch you’re comfortable with!
3. Once your frosting is sewn on use a contrasting color of embroidery floss to stitch “sprinkles” onto your cookie.
3. Place your two cookie pieces together and sew along the edges. When you’re almost done sewing, fill cookie with stuffing and finish it off. That’s it, you’re done!

How adorable! I’ll have to get some little felt foods when I have a daughter; it’s so much cuter than the plastic things I played with as a kid!
