My as Clean as it’s Ever Been Bedroom Closet
The closet in my bedroom is the largest closet in the house. Because of this it’s also the closet that collects the most crap inside of it. Continuing on my mision to become organized I decided it was time to clean it out, and as you can see from my before pictures that I can’t believe I’m posting for the world to see it really needed it. Honestly, I have NO idea how the heck it got that bad! (well ok, maybe I have some idea, but still!)
I followed my cleaning strategy of sorting as I go, tossing garbage as needed and making donate/keep/put away piles. After all was said and done I donated three big garbage bags to Goodwill and I no longer fear for my life when opening the closet doors! I can’t even begin to describe how much better I feel just knowing that things are starting to be more organized around here, it’s very calming though, to say the least.

that was an awesome tackle, closets seem to always get out of control fast!!! Love the wicker basket, those are my favorite organizing tool!!!

Ooohh… I’m jealous. I know I need to tackle my master closet, but I just haven’t gotten that kick in the pants I need. I figure if I keep seeing people like you manage to do it, maybe I’ll eventually get inspired. Great job!

You’ve done a great job, Faith! I have a strange habit of keeping my closet straightened and organized, but I allow all sorts of things to pile up on my window seat which is far more visible. I think I need to do a Tackle it Tuesday project on that area, but I’m not sure I’d want to post my ‘incriminating’ photos!
